Prerequisites
- An n8n instance (Cloud or self-hosted).
- Google Gemini API Key (the workflow uses models/gemini-1.5-flash-latest).
- Google Calendar OAuth2 credentials.
- Slack API credentials (for posting messages to a channel).
Setup Instructions
- Download the n8n workflow JSON file.
- Import the workflow into your n8n instance.
- Configure the 'Schedule Trigger' node for your preferred daily execution time (default is 9 AM).
- In the 'Google Gemini Chat Model' node, enter your Google Gemini API Key.
- Configure the 'Google Calendar - Get Events' node: authenticate with your Google Calendar OAuth2 credentials and select the calendar you want to monitor.
- Review the 'Calendar AI Agent' node. The default system message and prompt are designed for daily meeting summaries, but you can customize them if needed.
- Configure the 'Send response back to slack channel' node with your Slack API credentials and choose the target channel for receiving summaries.
- Activate the workflow.
