Setup Instructions

  1. Download the n8n workflow JSON file (ai-linkedin-prospector-agent-v1.0.0.json).
  2. Import the workflow into your n8n instance.
  3. Ensure the n8n-nodes-brightdata community node is installed in your n8n environment.
  4. Create and configure your OpenAI credentials in n8n. The 'OpenAI Chat Model' node in the workflow will use these for summarizing profiles.
  5. Create and configure your Bright Data credentials in n8n. These are used by the 'Get 1 Google Result' (Google Search via Bright Data) and 'Get LinkedIn Profile Data' (LinkedIn Scraper) nodes. Ensure your Bright Data zone (e.g., 'web_unlocker1') is correctly set up.
  6. (Optional) If you plan to use the chat-based trigger ('When chat message received' node), configure its webhook URL and ensure it's accessible.
  7. Review the 'AI Prospector Agent' node and its associated tools. You may want to customize: a. The Google search query construction within the 'Get 1 Google Result' node (e.g., modify the search patterns). b. The prompts used in the 'OpenAI Chat Model' node to tailor the summaries to your needs.
  8. Test the workflow using the 'Execute Workflow' button. You can input prospect details (like name and company) if using the chat trigger, or test sub-flows with direct LinkedIn URLs.
  9. Activate the workflow to begin automated LinkedIn prospecting.
