Prerequisites

  • An n8n instance (Cloud or self-hosted).
  • OpenAI API Key with access to a suitable model (e.g., gpt-3.5-turbo, gpt-4). Ensure your OpenAI account has sufficient credits/billing enabled.
  • ScrapingBee API Key and account with sufficient credits.
  • The target company name for analysis.

Setup Instructions

  1. Download the n8n workflow JSON file.
  2. Import the workflow into your n8n instance.
  3. Configure all OpenAI-related nodes (including 'OpenAI Chat Model', 'Information Extractor', and 'LLM Chain' types) by selecting or creating your OpenAI API credentials.
  4. Configure the three 'ScrapingBee' HTTP Request nodes ('ScrapingBee Search Glassdoor', 'ScrapingBee GET company page contents', 'ScrapingBee GET Glassdoor Reviews Content') by selecting or creating your ScrapingBee Query Auth credentials. This credential should include your ScrapingBee API key (usually as a query parameter named api_key).
  5. In the 'SET company_name' node, update the 'company_name' value with the target company (e.g., ="YourCompanyName").
  6. (Optional) Review the 'Define dictionary of demographic keys' node if you need to customize or add demographic categories for analysis.
  7. Ensure all credential nodes are correctly configured and tested.
  8. Activate the workflow. You can trigger it manually using the 'When clicking ‘Test workflow’' node.
  9. Examine the output of the 'Quickchart Scatterplot', 'QuickChart Bar Chart', and 'Text Analysis of Bias Data' nodes for the results.
