Prerequisites
- An n8n instance (Cloud or self-hosted).
- Humantic AI API Key.
- A LinkedIn profile URL to initiate the process.
- A publicly accessible URL for a resume file (PDF, DOCX) if you intend to use the resume update feature.
Setup Instructions
- Download the n8n workflow JSON file.
- Import the workflow into your n8n instance.
- Configure the first 'Humantic AI' node: Set up your Humantic AI credentials. In the 'User ID' parameter, input the target LinkedIn profile URL (e.g., 'https://www.linkedin.com/in/username/'). You can replace the example or use dynamic input from previous steps if you extend the workflow.
- Configure the 'HTTP Request' node: Set the 'URL' parameter to the direct download URL of the resume you want to use for profile enrichment. This URL must be publicly accessible by your n8n instance. This node will fetch the resume file.
- Review the 'Humantic AI1' (Update Profile) node: Ensure Humantic AI credentials are set. The 'User ID' is dynamically populated from the first Humantic AI step. This node is configured to use the resume file (binary data named 'file' from the 'HTTP Request' node output) to update the profile.
- Review the 'Humantic AI2' (Get Profile) node: Ensure Humantic AI credentials are set. The 'User ID' is dynamically populated. Customize the 'Persona' under 'Options' (e.g., 'hiring') as needed for the type of insight you require.
- Test the workflow by manually executing it ('On clicking execute') with a valid LinkedIn URL and a working resume URL.
- Activate the workflow. You can further modify it to trigger based on webhooks, forms, or other events.
